A Break from the Lake

“…I’ve been coming here for 18 years, and each time I drive into the entrance of the resort I sigh and say , ‘Ah, my home away from home..."

 Craig & Susy R.

…Take It Easy Resort is a great place to have fun with friends. This is the

second week of our eighteenth year…”

Trail
David’s trail runs from the foot of our property around the edge of the lake to Red Bank (5 miles) in one direction and all the way across the 101 bridge continuing for 17 miles on the far bank. It is a beautiful trail for hiking, running, or cycling. Borrow one of our 6 Trek mountain bikes to see the trail or head off to Pigeon Creek for even more trail riding adventures.

Games
We offer volleyball, badminton, horseshoes, other yard games, a swing set, a common fireplace perfect for s’mores and ping pong in a covered pavilion. Play against each other, or challenge the proprietor, if you dare!

Fire Pits
In the cool of the evening, you can enjoy a bonfire down at the fire pit. Wood is stacked and ready for you along with some seats and even a few marshmallow cooking sticks.
